Incorporating ambient minimalism, world music, electronica and jazz. Bob's eclectic style crosses musical and cultural boundaries. Possibly best known for his percussive classic African Drug, his later work has taken a more ambient, minimalist approach. His textural, cinematic music has been used extensively on film and television, including The Sopranos, True Blood, The Dark Knight, The Centre of the World, Lost, Breath of Life, Five Voices, Coast, Death Race Inferno, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Rectify and the multi award winning documentary Living in the Future's Past, produced and narrated by Jeff Bridges.
Bob’s work has been remixed by artists such as Four Tet, Joe Claussell, Nitin Sawhney, Francois K, The Album Leaf and Coldcut and his latest album The Cage was the soundtrack to a groundbreaking architectural exhibition at the 2018 Venice Biennale.
